Flying in the face of reality KILLS! Many ppl have asked for my 2 cents on accidental/negligent discharges & how they come about. Lots of ppl have been serious hurt & killed because ppl think that having their finger inside the trigger guard is NOT a problem, well the facts show otherwise. Some ppl think they are immune to the body's alarm response and what the body does when startled, scared, found in a state of imbalance, etc. Be very careful because if you fly in the face of reality you chances of having an accidental/negligent discharge skyrocket. IOW do NOT be 'that guy'. This video is not directed at one person or channel. Actually there are a handful of folks that are of the mindset that having your finger in the trigger guard makes one faster at pulling the trigger &/or its not a big deal, however science shows the imbalance/startle/sympathetic automatic body response takes over when an 'oh crap' moment hits us & then... Auto Body Shop Fire At 2900 Calhoun In Gary Indiana on 03-31-12
Crews were dispatched to a reported fire at 2900 Calhoun on 03-31-12. On arrival Engine 13 advised of heavy smoke showing and a line was stretched. Crews made an aggressive interior attack, considering the volume of fire inside and obstacles it was difficult to attack the fire. Two additional lines were stretched to bring the fire under control. Although the building was occupied at the time of the fire no injuries were reported, a worker was inside painting a car at the time. It is unknown how the fire started. Arson investigators were requested to the scene
