This day has turned out to be one of the most beautiful winter days for the City of Los Angeles, the surrounding municipalities, and for all of the people who live in the Los Angeles Basin. A bright and sunny day with a few clouds, a slight cool breeze, 75℉ to 80℉ daytime temperatures, and clear air due to a recent rain storm on Monday 1/23. Clear views all the way to the mountains. The surrounding area provided the soundtrack. Sounds of many different birds in the park area, all of the automobiles and trucks being driven around down on ground level, and the children at play in the nearby school before classes begin can be heard throughout the video. My Los Angeles - digging for oil in the suburbs
Watching tv and movies, outsiders may not realize what LA is like for the residents. For example, did you know the area is littered with oil wells? It is apparent in the suburbs where they are not hidden from view. This was filmed off the Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach.
