Lecresia Campbell, Im the Minister of MUSIC 'I Know FACES'
Gettin' the choir members in Check, Go Head Sis. Campbell. Actress, Singer, Worshipper are words that best describe Lecresia Campbell. As a child Lecresia wanted to be a schoolteacher. After receiving her Bachelor Degree in Applied Voice from Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, MS, Ms. Campbell taught elementary school for 8 years. Ms. Campbell took a leave of absence from teaching to pursue her passion. After recording her rendition of "Perfect Praise (How Excellent)" which took the nation by storm. Lecresia became a background vocalist for Vanessa Bell Armstrong and later shared the stage as a solo artist with artists such as Larnelle Harris, Donnie McClurkin, Mary Mary, Gerald Levert, Stephanie Mills, and a host of others. Lecresia began captivating audiences in musical plays such as Dreamgirls where she starred as Effie. She performed in two of David Talbert's hit shows Mr. Right Now and His Woman, His Wife. Both productions toured the country performing to sold out audiences for 3 years. She recently played TV Judge Greg Mathis mother in Tell it to the Judge. In between theatrical performances, Ms. Campbell returns to her first love, singing. Lecresia recorded her first solo project entitled Even Me which hit the nation by storm and earned her a Stellar Award nomination for Best Female. Vocalist (traditional). 2010 Titans Caravan at Fort Campbell Kentucky
The Titans Caravan comes to Fort Campbell Kentucky and says thank you to the soldiers. The caravan made 5 stops on base, including the highschool and visiting with wounded soldiers at the hospital. There were 5 Titans players: Jared Cook, Jacob Ford, Ahamard Hall, Donnie Nickey and Craig Stevens. There were also 4 Titans cheerleaders: Briane B., Chocez H., Jena L., Jessi P. And let's not forget, T-RAC!
